I love being able to impact how we work. I'm encouraged to challenge the status quo and develop different and new ways of working. I love that I can bring ideas to the table and they are listened to, and implemented.

No project or problem is too large if you break it down and look at individual solutions rather than one large problem. This can apply to the workplace as well as everyday life or stresses.

I've been involved in many interesting projects during my career at Plowman Craven. Everything starts when a project lands in my hands.

I am passionate about going above and beyond to beat deadlines and delivering work at the standard Plowman Craven prides itself on.

I oversee everything on a daily basis. I'm the main port of call for the client so a clear understanding and project knowledge is paramount.

Knowing you’ve been involved in a project from the very start and then delivering the final finished report to the client at the end is extremely satisfying.

You could say that surveying runs in the family as my Mum was a cartographer. Strangely enough, she worked at the company where Mr Plowman and Mr Craven worked before setting up Plowman Craven.

Best thing about working here? The company allows you to develop and learn new skills whilst trusting you to just get on with what you are supposed to be doing. It’s just the right blend of guidance and autonomy.

With a degree in Biology and a Masters in Environmental Control, I have always had a passion for nature, conservation and the environment. My role allows me to get involved in these fields whilst supporting sustainable development.
