In collaboration with Transport for London and using the latest drone technology, Plowman Craven recently completed a full flyover of the station, rail network, roadworks and adjacent properties in the Edgware area of London.
Having established an accurate control network and safely captured high-resolution aerial imagery, a fully colourised 3D point cloud was created to extract all of the required topographic features. The variety of deliverables (orthophoto, raw imagery, 3D topo and 3D point cloud) enabled the client to use this data for planning, design, and construction phases – improving collaboration and efficiency across their teams.
