Raising money for good causes

Raising money for good causes for those most in need can be difficult when you need to manage your own way through the cost-of-living crisis, but we at Plowman Craven continue to do our bit. Here are some of highlights from the last half of the year.

A huge well done to Christian Voller (Lead Surveyor) who raised £620.00 for AT Society with his skydive in August; also, thanks to all those that supported AT Society's Constellations’ evening event.

Every year, Melissa Gunn (CAD Project Lead) works with a team of keen bakers to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning. The event this year was a great success, raising £316.38 for the amazing work this charity does for many families across the UK.

Plowman Craven is a Gold Sponsor at the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care Herts 10k event and we are pleased to share that not only did we manage to get a few keen runners involved, but collectively our employees raised further sponsorship for this wonderful charity.

Our employees continued to donate to the The Trussell Trust Food Bank throughout the year; with the colder months approaching this is going to be more important than ever before, and in early December our employees took time out to make reindeer gifts to donate to guests attending the Batford Community Pensioners Christmas Lunch, which we also donated to.

Thanks to everyone that took part and got involved with charitable activities this year. Our employees make us proud every day.
