PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Join our high-performing team dedicated to excellence in using Revit and associated software to create and deliver BIM survey models from point clouds and photos. You'll collaborate closely with team leaders to produce high-quality Revit models within tight deadlines; share your knowledge and support your colleagues to achieve common goals.

Plowman Craven India’s primary services include delivering BIM survey models (Scan to BIM), CAD drawings (both building and topographical), and area referencing, all with a focus on high-quality, state-of-the-art deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

BIM Implementation and Strategy:

• Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the organization including effective planning and project tracking.
• Define and communicate BIM execution plans for projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM project goals, milestones, and deliverables.

Team Leadership and Training:

• Manage and lead a team of BIM specialists, coordinating efforts to meet project requirements.
• Provide training and support to enhance BIM proficiency across the organization.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, building a positive working experience within the BIM team.

Modelling and Coordination:

• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and coordination of 3D models throughout the design and construction phases.
• Ensure integration of various disciplines' models (architectural, structural, MEP) for clash detection and resolution.
• Implement model quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings to address BIM-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, build environment or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in BIM Management and implementation, preferably within the geospatial measurement industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and others Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong people management, communication and client management abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices of BIM.
• Ability to manage international client relationships and drive performance improvements.
